Accepted, Connected and Ready to Learn

Homecoming 2026 was a night to remember! Students came dressed in their best and danced the night away. Two food trucks, lawn games in the courtyard and of course a photo booth provided plenty of fun for students and staff! Thank you student council and Mr. Frickman for all the hard work and planning.

Congratulations to the BA football team on a GIANT win at the Homecoming football

game. They took the W 36-8 against Amistad.

Bacon Academy Hall of Fame 2027

Bacon Academy “Hall of Fame” nominations are open!

Please nominate those you would like recognized for their contributions to athletics, academics, associated student body activities (the arts, student government, clubs), and community service. Recognition is also given for career contributions and accomplishments. Inductees include alumni who have graduated, employees who have retired from Bacon Academy, retired coaches and individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to Bacon Academy and may or may not have been an alumnus or employee of Bacon Academy.

Nominations are being accepted until December 1st, 2026 with a Hall of Fame induction in spring of 2026. The nomination form can be found at https://ba.colchesterct.org/halloffame or by using this link.

College and Post Secondary Fair

Our annual College and Post-Secondary Fair took over the BA gymnasium on Thursday! With over 75 representatives from colleges, universities, military branches, and police and fire departments, students had a fantastic opportunity to explore a wide range of future career and education paths. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped our students plan for life after high school!

Yearbook Information

Senior Portrait Update:

Additional appointments became available for Friday Oct 9th in school - Students can schedule themselves until all are filled.
If you did not get an appointment for that day, the next and final day for senior portraits will be Monday Oct 19th. You will automatically be scheduled a time for that day so plan what you might want to be wearing that day. You will be notified of the time

Haunted Halls!

Tickets are currently on sale for the BA Theatrics Haunted Halls event! The event is on Friday, October 23rd. The event starts at 5:30 and the last entry will be at 7:45.

This event will also feature different booths with activities for children. These booths will be run by various clubs, each with their own fundraising opportunity. Please note, the admission price for Haunted Halls is just for the Haunted House. You can peruse the booths without needing to purchase a ticket for the Haunted House itself!
