Industry Partners Tour

On Tuesday 11/18, Bacon Academy hosted a collaborative session between our Technology Education department and industry partners including Eastern Workforce Investment Board, Collins & Jewell, General Dynamics Electric Boat, InCord, Mohawk Northeast and Westminster Tool. Tours of our labs were conducted followed by a discussion about further collaboration between schools and employers. The Colchester Board of Education has long supported our Technology and Manufacturing programs which are consistently drawing local, state, and national attention for the high quality work happening in our schools.

In the words of one of our industry partners on Tuesday...
"I was very impressed to see what you’ve built in the Technology department at Bacon. It’s really come a long way from the last time I saw the space/program several years ago. I genuinely think you are running the best and most comprehensive technology program of those in CT that I’ve seen."

PJ Day For the Kids

We are excited to raise money for Connecticut Children’s and get our town on the PJ Day map! We look forward to joining with
hundreds of schools, businesses and individuals across the state to honor patients who must wear
their pajamas for days, weeks, or longer while fighting cancer or other serious illnesses.
We hope you will consider making a donation in honor the young patients who turn to Connecticut Children's for hope.
PJ Day is December 12th
