PJ Day For the Kids

We are excited to raise money for Connecticut Children’s and get our town on the PJ Day map! We look forward to joining with
hundreds of schools, businesses and individuals across the state to honor patients who must wear
their pajamas for days, weeks, or longer while fighting cancer or other serious illnesses.
We hope you will consider making a donation in honor the young patients who turn to Connecticut Children's for hope.
PJ Day is December 12th

From Our Classrooms

AP Environmental Science

In October, AP Environmental Science students and AP Biology students were the first classes to visit the new outdoor classroom space at the Bulkley Hill Preserve in Colchester. Students met with Beth Bernard, a forester from the DEEP who reviewed forest management and led students on a hike to identify species and look for invasive species. Students later hiked to the pond where water testing was conducted.

Engineering

For the past 45 days the Engineering 1 Students have covered shop safety, cutting and drilling techniques using bandsaws and drill presses, measurement and layout techniques and now basic drafting and two dimensional cnc machining using Mastercam software. This past unit students designed and created their own personalized rulers machined from acrylic. It was a great success all around!
