Legacy Studios will be at Bacon for student pictures and IDs on Thursday, September 30, 2021.  The on-line preorder form is a safe and secure way to purchase your child’s school portraits. 


Drop offs in the morning should follow the traffic pattern going LEFT and around the back of the building.  The exception is the AM band students (who arrive at 6:45) and are able to go to the right.  



Welcome to Bacon Academy Project Graduation! We raise funds to provide safe, no-cost graduation activities for all students! BA Project Graduation will hold its first meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. Zoom link and agenda will be posted on our Facebook page and included in our digital backpack newsletter.


Project Grad's 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament will take place on September 25 at Ruby & Elizabeth Cohen's Woodlands in Colchester. Parents and student teams (or mixed) are welcome!

Access to Parent Portal in PowerSchool for 2021-22

Colchester Public Schools District is requiring all families to update student information forms and review school-related documents prior to the start of the 2021-22 academic year. Families will be able to access the Parent Portal in PowerSchool in order to complete all paperwork on August 16, 2021. Families will not be able to view their student's teacher or course schedule until after August 16 and upon the completion of all required paperwork in the Parent Portal.

The Bacon Academy Student Handbook contains all the information you need to help guide you and your student through a successful school year.  The Official Student Handbook for 2021-2022 is available for review.

The PSAT for 10th and 11th grade students will be held at Bacon Academy on October 13th. There is no cost to sophomores, but juniors who wish to take the exam must pay a $20.00 fee and register beginning September 13th. Only juniors need to register using the following link:

Information about College Board:

Test scores are being released for the PSAT and SAT exams for both Sophomores and Juniors. When the School Counseling Office receives any hard copies of your tests, we will contact the students to visit us and pick them up.  Most times, students are notified directly from the College Board via email about their test scores being ready to view.  College Board Accounts are not managed by the School Counseling Office and are only available to students.  Students must keep their user names and passwords for access.   Please visit the College Board website to access your materials, or if you have questions concerning sign on, their direct number is 866-630-9305.
