UPCOMING DATES TO KEEP IN MIND

Monday, October 11 NO SCHOOL Indigenous People's Day

Tuesday, October 12 is a B DAY.

Friday, October 15, 2021 is an A DAY, ADVISORY DAY

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES AT BACON will occur on Tuesday, November 2nd at Bacon Academy

In an effort to meet as many families’ needs as possible, we will be offering two windows of opportunity for parents to meet with teachers, 8-10 AM and 1-3PM.  All parent-teacher conferences will be by appointment only, no drop-ins will be allowed.  Conferences may be held in person or virtually via Google Meet.  In order to schedule a 15-minute appointment with a teacher, please email the teacher directly before November 2nd to find a mutually agreed upon time.  If neither of these time slots fit your schedule, you may email your teacher to make arrangements to meet at another time.  The earlier you contact your child’s teacher, the more likely it is you will be able to secure a time slot that you prefer.  Teacher email addresses can be located through Powerschool.  You may also call Bacon Academy at (860) 537-2378 and speak with Susan McKiernan and she can help you schedule conferences with any teachers you would like to meet with.  With the end of the first quarter on November 8th, this is a perfect chance to check in with teachers to find out how your child is doing!

DROP OFF REMINDER

Drop offs in the morning should follow the traffic pattern going LEFT and around the back of the building.  The exception is the AM band students (who arrive at 6:45) and are able to go to the right.  All students and parents are to go LEFT.
