October 1, 2021

Monday, October 4, 2021 is an A DAY.

Friday, October 8, 2021 is a FLEX DAY.

Monday, October 4th is the year's first Bacon Parent Council (BPC) meeting!  It will be at 6pm and it will be a virtual meeting.  The agenda is attached and we hope to see all of you there!!  In order to protect the security of the meeting from "zoom bombers", anyone who wants to attend must be invited to the Google Meet.  If you would like to attend, please email Susan McKiernan at smckiernan@colchesterct.org or give her a call at (860) 537-2378 and she will add you to the invite.  We hope to see you there so you can learn about the great things happening at BA and maybe even win a raffle prize!

Drop offs in the morning should follow the traffic pattern going LEFT and around the back of the building.  The exception is the AM band students (who arrive at 6:45) and are able to go to the right.  All students and parents are to go LEFT.

Juniors Class of 2023

It is that time of year again where we will be collecting class dues.  Class dues are $10.  Please pay Mrs. Steele in room 2148.  Please make checks out to Bacon Academy.  If you have not paid in previous years please get caught up, for each year you have not paid it adds an additional $10 per unpaid year on your prom ticket this year.

It’s time for class dues.  Dues are $10 and cover the cost of things like prom, senior trip, senior gift, and more.  You can pay your dues to Mrs. Burroughs in room 3160, to Carolyn Baehr, or any other class officer.  Please pay dues by October 18th!

Sleigh Bells Fair

Save the Date! December 11, 2021.   A list of vendors will follow!

The BA science department is proud to announce the Science Hub!

This resource is available to students periods 3A & 7B.  Run by science teachers, students can come to get extra help on class work, aid in writing lab reports, or in reviewing for an assessment.  Students must obtain a pass from their science teacher for the hub.

Bacon Academy students are required to have a personal computer to participate in classroom academic activities and standardized testing. Chromebooks are available to all students, or you may choose to bring your own device. If you would like to get a school-issued Chromebook, please submit the Technology Form (in student's PowerSchool), and the Student Handbook acceptance form (part of Information form in parent/guardian PowerSchool).
