Seniors - Reporting Dual Enrollment/AP Credits to Your College

The School Counseling Office does NOT keep track of the college credits YOU have earned through dual enrollment classes. YOU must request a transcript from each of the colleges from which you have earned dual enrollment credits &/or your AP test scores from the College Board. YOU then need to forward these documents to your college for review. Please note - This year’s dual enrollment classes will not appear on your transcript until mid-July. Below please find links to each college with whom we partner:

THREE RIVERS COMMUNITY COLLEGE and MANCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE - PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (TRCC/MCC-PP)

A limited number of accepted Juniors and Seniors (in good academic standing) will be allowed to take after school and evening courses at Three Rivers Community College and Manchester Community College, for both college and high school credit.  Students can take a maximum of 8 credits at TRCC/MCC per year without any tuition cost except for books and lab fees.  Students or their parents are responsible for all transportation to and from TRCC/MCC.  Each 3 credit semester college class will equal 0.5 high school credit.  TRCC/MCC Partnership credits count toward high school graduation, but are not used to calculate students' Bacon Academy GPA or class rank.  Prior to registering, all TRCC/MCC Partnership courses must be approved by Mr. Sefchik (TRCC/MCC Partnership Site Coordinator), the appropriate Bacon Academy Department Head, and Mrs. Begue (Bacon Academy Principal) in order to receive high school credit.  Per Colchester Board of Education student’s regulations, all Bacon Academy students are still required to take a minimum of 7.0 credits (Juniors) 6.5 credits (Seniors) at the Bacon Academy campus per year.  Please note that TRCC/MCC Partnership credits do not count toward this 7.0 or 6.5 credit Bacon Academy credit minimums.  Only TRCC/MCC Partnership classes starting after 2:15 PM during the academic school year are allowed.  TRCC/MCC summer classes are also not included in the TRCC/MCC Partnership Program. Upon successful completion of each TRCC/MCC Partnership class, students must send an official TRCC/MCC transcript to the Bacon Academy School Counseling Office in order to receive high school credit.  Students accepted into the program are able to take advantage of the following services at Three Rivers Community College and Manchester Community College:

·         Access to the TRCC/MCC Academic Tutoring Center

·         Access to all TRCC/MCC Athletic facilities
