COVID TESTING SITES/KITS
If your student has symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 they should test for COVID-19 before returning to school. PCR testing is the gold standard. To find testing sites near you visit: CT 211. Colchester Public Schools has some rapid at home test kits for students to use. Please contact your child's school nurse if you need one.
CAREER SPOTLIGHT SERIES 2/22/22
Bacon Academy is excited to announce our fourth presentation in the Career Spotlight Series. The series will spotlight a different industry each month. Students will have the opportunity to listen to professionals from the field speak about their careers and learn things about the industries they can't learn from a computer. This month we will have presenters from the following industries: engineering, manufacturing, construction and logistics, for more information, view our Career Spotlight Flyer. Students can sign up for the presentation in the guidance office. Deadline to sign up is 2/18/22.
Colchester Baseball-Softball League
Registration is now open for the Colchester Baseball-Softball League, Spring 2022 Season. Programs are available for boys and girls ages 4-16. Please visit Colchester Baseball Softball league to learn more, register or ask questions.
Registration for Colchester Youth Lacrosse is Open
Do your kids like to play basketball, soccer, or hockey? Lacrosse combines skills from all three sports. The spring 2022 season runs from March until the beginning of June. Class of 2023
Last call for class dues. Please pay Mrs. Steele in room 2148 $10 for each year that you have not paid. Please pay no later than February 4th. Everyone should have paid $30 up to this point.
Junior Prom is scheduled for May 21st at Lake Of Isles located in North Stonington from 5pm-10pm. The cost of the ticket will be determined soon but please plan on $75-$100 per ticket.

WINTER SPORTS PAY TO PLAY
PAY TO PLAY IS PAST DUE: If your student is participating in a winter sport, a Pay to Play Fee must be paid. The cost is $180 per student per season with a yearly family max of $540. If you have a credit code from last year, please use it to pay on the My Payments Plus system located on our school website. You can pay your sports fee on this system as well, or you can pay with a check made out to the Town of Colchester and brought to Bacon Academy. Please complete: Pay to Play Form Winter 2021

Information about College Board
Test scores are being released for the PSAT and SAT exams for both Sophomores and Juniors. When the School Counseling Office receives any hard copies of your tests, we will contact the students to visit us and pick them up. Most times, students are notified directly from the College Board via email about their test scores being ready to view. College Board Accounts are not managed by the School Counseling Office and are only available to students. Students must keep their user name and password for access. Please visit the College Board website to access your materials, or if you have questions concerning sign on, their direct number is 866-630-9305.
