SCIENCE HUB
Have you heard about the Science Hub? The Science Hub is a place for students to come for extra help in completing any science work. The space is located in room 1142 of the science wing. There are science teachers in the Hub every day during the 3rd block. Obtain a pass from your current science teacher to come and use the hub. It's a great place to study as well!
COVID TESTING SITES/KITS
If your student has symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 they should test for COVID-19 before returning to school. PCR testing is the gold standard. To find testing sites near you visit: https://www.211ct.org/. Colchester Public Schools has some rapid at home test kits for students to use. Please contact your child's school nurse if you need one.

AMERICAN LEGION CT STATE POLICE YOUTH WEEK
The American Legion and the Ct State Police announce their joint sponsorship of the 18th Annual State Police Youth Week. JUNIORS that are interested in law enforcement please contact the School Counseling Office for an application and information on this program, by March 1st. This program offers insight into the training, duties and expectations of Law Enforcement Officers. The program provides realistic experience, patterned after recruit training at the Ct State Police Academy. Cadets will participate in a variety of mentally and physically demanding instructional sessions. Overnight stay in a dormitory type environment is required. The program dates are Sunday, August 7th through Saturday, August 13th.
CAREER SPOTLIGHT SERIES 2/22
Bacon Academy is excited to announce our fourth presentation in the Career Spotlight Series. The series will spotlight a different industry each month. Students will have the opportunity to listen to professionals from the field speak about their careers and learn things about the industries they can't learn from a computer. This month we will have presenters from the following industries: engineering, manufacturing, construction and logistics. Students can sign up for the presentation in the guidance office.
Class of 2023
Last call for class dues. Please pay Mrs. Steele in room 2148 $10 for each year that you have not paid. Please pay no later than February 4th. Everyone should have paid $30 up to this point.
Junior Prom is scheduled for May 21st at Lake Of Isles located in North Stonington from 5pm-10pm. The cost of the ticket will be determined soon but please plan on $75-$100 per ticket.

Information about College Board
Test scores are being released for the PSAT and SAT exams for both Sophomores and Juniors. When the School Counseling Office receives any hard copies of your tests, we will contact the students to visit us and pick them up. Most times, students are notified directly from the College Board via email about their test scores being ready to view. College Board Accounts are not managed by the School Counseling Office and are only available to students. Students must keep their user name and password for access. https://www.collegeboard.org/ Please visit the College Board website to access your materials, or if you have questions concerning sign on, their direct number is 866-630-9305.
