Advanced Placement

In 2013, Bacon Academy was named a member of the 3rd Annual AP Honor Roll by College Board for simultaneously increasing access to Advanced Placement® course work while increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams. Achieving both of these goals is the ideal scenario for Bacon Academy's AP program because it indicates that we are successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are likely to benefit most from rigorous AP coursework. More than 90 percent of colleges and universities across the U.S. offer college credit, advanced placement or both for a score of 3 or higher on an AP Exam - which can potentially save our students and their families thousands of dollars in college tuition.

*Your AP scores could earn you college credit or advanced placement (meaning you could skip certain courses in college). Use this tool to find colleges that offer credit or placement for AP scores.
